RE: Strategic Planning Updates
Change in terminology
We are changing our terminology from Long Range Plan to Strategic Plan for sake of
communication —"strategic plan" is more widely used and understood.
Budget
We currently have two strategic planning budget considerations.
• Survey Monkey: One year subscription for the premier plan is $1262.25. This plan was
chosen because of the functionality options.
• Refreshments: The cost for refreshments from the Red Leaf Cafe will be $552 for 8
meetings.
We are requesting that a total of $1814.25 be approved from the Trustee expense account.
Strategic Planning Meeting Schedule
Meetings will be held at 7 p.m. on the following dates: January 22, February 19, March 18, April
15, May 27 (4th Wednesday), June 17, July (no meeting), August 19, and September 16.
Meetings are the third Wednesday of the month unless noted.

We have approximately 500 completed surveys at this time.
There are currently 13 applicants to serve on the Strategic Planning Committee. Trustees will
receive all applications in the January Trustees packet.
