A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD RECOMMENDING ADOPTION OF
THE CITY'S GENERAL PLAN HOUSING ELEMENT
REVISION AND EIR ADDENDUM
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has prepared revisions to the City's Housing
Element consistent with State housing guidelines; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has prepared an EIR Addendum pursuant to
CEQA guidelines and found that the proposed Housing Element Revision will have
incremental, but insignificant, affects upon the environment; and
WHEREAS, the Community Development Departme>t has circulated the
Housing Element Revision and F.IR Addendum for over 30 days pursuant to CEQA
guidelines.
NOW, THEREI'ORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the Proposed Housing Element Revision is consistent with~'the
objectives and the development policies of the City of Lynwood.
Section 2. That the Proposed Housing Element Revision will enhance housing
development opportunities in the City.
Section 3. '['haC the Proposed Housing Element Revision will not adversely
af7ect any other L;lement of the General Plan.
Section 4. 'That the Ii;lit Addendum has been prepared and circulated in
conformance with CI~;QA guidolines.
Section 5. 'T'hat this resolution shall go into e(Iect immediately upun its
adoption.
PASSED, APPItOVF,D and ADOPTED this 6th day of October, 1992.
