A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING A CONTRACT AMENDMENT FOR
CITY PROSECUTOR SERVICES IN SUPPORT OF THE CODE
ENFORCEMENT PROGRAM
WHEREAS on July 16, 1991, the City of Lynwood entered into an agreement with Dapeer
and Rosenblit for City Prosecutor Services for fiscal year 1991-92 in support of the City's Code
Enforcement Program; and
WHEREAS, said agreement provided for the City Prosecutor to provide at least 7 hours of
service per week at the rate of $80.00 per hour, with the total amount of compensation not to
exceed $ 51,000.00; and
WHEREAS, an increase in Code Enforcement and Health violations have necesitated the
City Prosecutor's services an average of 15 hours per week; and
WHEREAS, a firm enforcement of local ordinances regarding illegal vending have
necesitated additional hours from the City Prosecutor.
WHEREAS, funds appropriated for the current year does not include contract
amendment; and
WHEREAS, it is necessary to appropriate funds to cover increase in service request.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, determine,
order and resolve as follows:
Section L The maximum amount payable under Section 6 of the agreement with
Dapeer and Rosenblit is hereby amended to reflect an increase of $ 6,000.00, thereby increasing
the contract to $ 57,000.00.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make the following
appropriations

Section 3. That all previous contract terms and conditions remain unchanged.
Section 4 This resolution shall become effective immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED AND ADOPTED THIS seventeenth day of November,
1992.
