Wayne Neddermeyer Priscilla Arens - Medina met in regular session on Tuesday, September - Mayor in Chair Clerk All members present The minutes of the meeting of August 3, 1971 read. Moved by Donald Des Lauriers that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. The minutes of the special budget meeting. of August 31, 1971 read. Moved by Robert Franklin that the minutes be approved as read. Seconded by Thomas Stevens Motion carried. William Fitzer appeared with regard to tax forfeited land and also lot size because of sewage. Advised to get neighbors to sign and come back to next meeting. s Ronald Kath appeared with regard to tax forfeited lot. Moved by Robert Frpnkimn to approved the following Redolution: WHEREAS, the Village Council of the Village of Medina, Hennepin County, Minnesota, has received from the County Auditor of Hennepin County a list of lands in the vkllage, which became the property of the State of Minnesota under the provisions of law declaring the forfeiture of lands to the State for non-payment of taxes, which said list has been designated as Classification List "641-C", February 7, 1967, and WHEREAS, each parcel of land described in said list has heretofore been class- ified by the Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County, Minnesota as non -conservation laid and the sale thereof has heretofore been authorized by said Board of County Commissioners of Hennepin County; and which classification and sale was not approved by the Village of Medina at the Village Council meeting held on March 7, 1967; and it being the desire of the Village Council of Medina now t& classify and approve the sale of one of the parcels of land on said Cla sification List "641-C", February 7, 1967; Now, `W M ORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by said Village Council, acting pursuant to Minnesota Statgtes for 1961, Section 282.01, that the said classification by said Board of County Commissioners of Lot 7, Block 7, Independence Beach, Hennepin County, Minn- esota, described in said list as non -conservation land be and the same i h eb tt approved, and the sale of said lot 11,, t e is here a edd� tnesuntero� siom �iai° PP Pi ��t v -useli ids o-ya i a6ie D ccel. Moved by Robert Franklin to appoint AdelL Gertz as Chairman for the November election. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Patrick Wells with plat.for the Willow Brook Development. Moved by Robert Franklin to grant approval to the Willowbrook Plat and that we ask our attorney if any of the Park payment of $2000.00 can be held over. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. ti 48 Moved by Robert Franklin to approved an Ordinance Regarding Public Health, Welfare, and Safety 'n Connection With Mobile Home Parks In the Village of Medina, Minneso. Seconded by Thomas Stevens Motion carried. Moved by Robert Franklin to buy 20 mile speed signs for Medina-Morningside and Independence Beach areas, same to be the yellow signs. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion ca ried. if Moved by Robert Franklin to buy the necessary "no Hunting signs"XaWxthe Conservation Department will not do so. Seconded by Arthur Theis Motion carried. Anne Dorweiler appeared with retard to a number of matters; platting and coding; health hazards because of sewage, etc. and compwehensive sewer plan. With regard to health hazards Thomas Stevens is to call Hickok and Associates with regardixt to getting samples and analysis. A number of complaints were received with regard to the trailers on the corner of Pinto Drive and Hwy.55. Mayor is going to contact Mr. Cavanaugh. Notice of regional meetings of the League of Minnesota Municipalities was read. Leo Leuer reported on the condition of the well - it is now in good repair. Moved by Arthur Theis that the meeting adjourn. Seconded by Donald Des Lauriers Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 11:30 P. M.
