A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO CARSON SUPPLY CO.
INC. IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 88,453.64 FOR THE PURCHASE OF
' IRRIGATION MATERIAL AND SUPPLIES FOR DYMALLY PARK
PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 5173, FISCAL YEAR 1996-97, AND
AUTHORIZING STAFF TO ISSUE A PURCHASE ORDER
CONTRACT
WHEREAS, Dymally Park Irrigation Material and supplies Project, Project
Number 5-5173 is scheduled for completion during FY 1996-97 and is funded by Los Angeles
County Regional Park and Open Space District Grant Funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on June 5, 1997, and Carson Supply Co.
Inc. was the lowest qualified bidder at $ 88,453.64; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Purchase of Irrigation and Supplies for the

Dymally Park Project, Project Number 5-5173, be awazded to Cazson Supply Co., Inc. for its
low bid of $ 88,453.64.
Section 2. That the staff is hereby autharized to execute a purchase order contract
between the City of Lynwood and Carson Supply Co., Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
