A RESOLUTION OF TA$ CITY COUNCIL OF TH$ CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
A COOPSRATION AQR$~NT WITH THS LYNVPOOD RSDEVSLOPMENT AGENCY FOR
THE DI3P03ITION OF CITY PROP~RTY LOCATBD AT 3543 PALM AVENUE TO THE
AGBNCY IN THE AMOUNT OF $32,500
' WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood holds title to the property
located at 3543 Palm Avenue; and
WHEREAS, the subject property has been maintained as a vacant
lot for numerous years; and
WHEREAS, the proposed Cooperation Agreement will allow the
City to sell the property to the Lynwood Redevelopment Agency in
the amount of $32,500; and
WHEREAS, the proposed agreement and subaequent development of
an affordable Single-family houaing unit will benefit the residents
of the City of Lynwood; and
WHEREAS, the property will be developed purauant to the
General Plan and Municipal Code requirements; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does
hereby find, proclaim, order and resolvea as followa:
Section 1. The City Council, based on the aforementioned
findinga and determinatione hereby adopts this resolution and
' authorizes the City Manager to execute the Cooperation Agreement
with the Lynwood Redevelopment in the amount of $32,500.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately
upon ita adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED, and ADOPTED this 17th day of June, 1997
