A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO LOBANA
ENGINEERING IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 333,355.00 FOR THE
MERVYN DYMALLY PARK CONCRETE WORK PROJECT,
PROJECT NUMBER 5-5173, FISCAL YEAR 1996-97, AND
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Mervyn Dymally Park Concrete Wark Project, Project Number
5-5173 is scheduled for completion during FY 1996-97 and is funded by the Los Angeles County
Regional Park and Open Space District Proposition A Funds.
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on June 24, 1997, and Lobana Engineering
was the lowest qualified bidder at $ 333,355.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section l. That the contract for the Mervyn Dymally Pazk Concrete Work
Project, Project Number 5-5173, be awarded to Lobana Engineering for its low bid of
332,355.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between
the City of Lynwood and Lobana Engineering.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
