RESOLUTION NO. 2016-08-05
A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING EXPENDITURES FOR A BROADBAND STUDY.
WHEREAS, the Town Board has identified Broadband as a strategic goal toward economic
development in Fraser; and
WHEREAS, staff has received a proposal and recommends initiating the work; and
WHEREAS, Fraser and Winter Park will collaborate on this project resulting in significant cost
savings; and
WHEREAS, the Colorado Department of Local Affairs (DOLA) has committed to assist with the
funding of this study.
NOW THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE BOARD OF TRUSTEES OF THE TOWN OF
FRASER, COLORADO THAT:
1. The Town Manager is hereby authorized to expend up to $17,000 for A Broadband
Study. However, it is understood that the Town Manager will be seeking grant funding
from DOLA to assist with funding this project.
