RESOLUTION APPOINTING STEVE TOWNSEND TO
THE SEWER/UTILITIES REVIEW COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, the City of Riverdale, Iowa ("City") is a municipal corporation, organized and operating under
the laws of the State of Iowa; and,
WHEREAS, the City has established a Sewer/Utility Review Committee via Ordinance Chapter 96: Sewer/
Utilities Review Committee; and,
WHEREAS, Ordinance 96 stipulates that six (6) members of the Committee shall be residents of the City
for a renewable term of three years; and,
WHEREAS. Steve Townsend, a resident of the City, has volunteered to serve as a community
representative; and,
WHEREAS, the City wishes to appoint Steve Townsend to the Sewer/Utility Review Committee; and,
WHEREAS, no actual monetary expenses will be incurred by this action.
NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF RIVERDALE, IOWA,
THAT:
SECTION 1: Steve Townsend is appointed as a community representative to the Sewer/Utility Review
Committee fora three-year term beginning 03/14/2023 and ending 12/31/2025.
Passed and approved this 14th day of March 2023.
