The Ma -or then brought up the Question of annexing the Curtis property
adjoining the Highway. A letter from Mr.Kelley of Greeley in regard to tis
was read. It was decided that the streets recently purchased by the Town
would have to be annexed first. This was turned over to the Judiciary
cornr-ittee.
Proposed Ordinance # 87 relating to the possesion of liquor read. This
was discussed at length.
Smith moved, seconded by Sivers that the rules regarding the adoption
of Ordinances be suspended and that proposed. Ordinance #87 be read second
and third time by number and title and nut on final passage. Yea vote -
Anderson, Hasbrouck, Peterson, Smith, Sivers, Young. Ordinance so read.
Smith moved, Hasbrouck seconded, that the Ordinance be adopted as read.
Yea vote- Anderson, Hasbrouck, Peterson, Smith, Siverp, Young, Nae vote -
none.
The following bills having been ok'd by the finance committee were read.

Young moved, Sivers seconded that the bills be allowed as read and
warrants drawn on the Treasurer for the same. All -present voted Aye.
Sivers reported that the police light would be installed as soon as the
contraett wag presented by the Telephone Co.
The following proposed Ordinance which is a part of the minutes of July
6th was read for the second time at this meeting.
PROPOSED ORDINANCE # 88
AN ORDINANCE ENTITLED "AN ORDINANCE CHANGING THE BEGINNING OF THE
FISCAL YEAR FROM THE FIRST PAY 'OF APRIL TO THE FIRST DAY OF JANUARY:
Whereas the Statutes of the State of Colorado fixes the beginning of
the Fiscal year for all incorporated towns and citiias, organized under the
laws of the state, as the first day of April, each year;
And Whereas the Board of Trustees believes it to be to the best interes
of the Town to have the date changed to the first of January, and it has in
view of such change passed and adopted the annual appropriation bill for
the year 1926. Threfore:
Section 1. Be it ordained by the Board of Trustees of the To of Ault,
that the date of the beginning of the Fiscal Year of the Town be and the
same is changed from the first day of April to the first day of January in
each year.
Section 2. That the financial business of the Town be hereafter conduct-
ed and executed in accordance with such change of time of the beginning of
the fiscal year.
Installing of road signs at the intersection of main street and the
State Highway discussed. No action taken.
Sivers moved, Anderson seconded, that the meeting adjourn, subject to
the call of the Mayor. All present voted Aye.
