A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE A
GENERAL SERVICES CONTRACT BETWEEN THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD AND THE COUNTY OF LOS
ANGELES.

WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood maintains a General Services Agreement
with the County of Los Angeles to provides various services to the City; and
WHEREAS, the present General Services Agreement expired on
June 30, 1997 and it is necessary to renew said agreement; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood wishes to continue
obtaining the services provided under the General Services Agreement from the County
of Los Angeles.
NOW, THEREFORE, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of
Lynwood as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council authorize the Mayor to execute the
General Services Agreement between the City of Lynwood and the County of Los
Angeles.
Section 2. That the County of Los Angeles shall obtain to compensation
from the City for entering into the General Services Agreement and will only charge the
City for services requested and rendered.
Section 3. That this resolution shall become effective immediately upon
its adoption.
