A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE ARLINGTON
AVENUE IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PROJECT
NO. 5-5196, FY 1996-97, AS BEING COMPLETE

WHEREAS, on June 17, 1997, the City Council awarded a contract of
$47,211.50 to Excel Paving Company, for the Arlington Avenue Street Improvement
Project, Project 5-5198; and
WHEREAS, the project started on July 7, 1997 and was completed on
July 28, 1997; and
WHEREAS, there was one change order in the amount of $2,160.00 for
additional base material and AC berm; and
WHEREAS, the final project construction cost is $49,371.50; and
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project, and found that all work has been
completed in accordance with the project plans and specification.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the Arlington Avenue Street
Improvement Project, Project No. 5-5198, as being complete in accordance with
contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its
