A regular meeting of the Board of Trustees of the Ton of Ault was
called to order by Mayor Fro-Tema}ore Sivers at 8:00 P.M. on the above
date.
Upon roll call the following members were found present, Anderson,
Hasbrouck, Peterson, Smith, and Young. Absent none.
The minutes of the prec evd ing meeting were read and approved as read.
Sivers reported that the old Fire House had been rented to Mr. Rogers
for $5.00 per month.
Mr. Guy Peterson was present and asked per?: ission to put in a shooting
gallery in his place for the holidays. After some discussion the Board
decided. to let Mr. Peterson put in a shooting gallery for the license fee
of 5.00 per month.
Mr. Sivers reported that he had received a letter addressed to the
`ayor, from Fairbanks Morse Co., requesting that the final payment on the
pump be made at once.
Sivers stated that the Police committee upon request of Yr. Curry had
secured --° r. Venable to serve as extra nightwatch for an indefinant time.
He. also stated that Mr.Ourry had agreed to accept x'10.00 per month less,
making hia. salary #130.Ou per month.
Young moved, seconded by Smite. that Mr. Venable be employed as extra
nightwatch for an indefinant time at the salary of e60.00 per month._. All
present voted Aye.
The. condition of a sh its, sidewalks and old buildings was discussed.
Yr Curry was instructed to look after these conditions. He was instructed
to see that the old Curtis building was torn down or repaired.
The matter of school children playing on the park Was discussed. The
Park committee decided to inspect the park and report to Mr. Curry who
would see the school authorities in an attempt to have this practice stopped.

were read.

Smith. moved, Anderson seconded that the bi I s be allowed as read and
warrants drawn on the Trasurer for the same. All present voted Aye.
The finance committee deciedo to try and buy some of the water works
ex t ent ion bonds.
Mr. Heir ey, ''ith the Fyn r Fyter Co. came in at this time and showed a
fire extinguisher. This was discussed at length. No action taken.
Peterson moved, Young seconded, that the meeting adjourn subject to
the call of the Mayor Pro-Tempore. All resent voted Aye.
