A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE LOS FLORES BLVD.
PINE AVENUE AND WALDORF AVENUE STREET IMPROVEMENT
PROJECT, PROJECT NO. 5-5196, FY 1996-97,
AS BEING COMPLETE
WHEREAS, on June 3, 1997, the City Council awarded a
, contract of $109,746.80 to Tyner Paving Company, for the Los
Flores Blvd., Pine Avenue and Waldorf Avenue Street Improvement
Project, Project 5-5196; and
WHEREAS, the project started on June 17, 1997 and was
completed on July 14, 1997; and
WHEREAS, there was one change order in the amount of
$10,490.00 for the upgrade of two fire hydrants; and
WHEREAS, the final project construction cost is
$120,236.80; and
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project, and found that
all work has been completed in accordance with the project plans
and specification.
NOW,THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the Los
Flores Blvd. Pine Avenue and Waldorf Avenue Street Improvement
Project, Project No. 5-5196, as being complete in accordance with
~ contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 9TH day of
AUGUST , 1997.
