To the Honorable Mayor' and Town Council:-
Gentlemen- Being elected a Member or the County Board
of Supervisors' I am therfore obliged to resign as Councilman and ask
Your Honorably Body to be relieved from my duties on the Town Council,
Permit me to say that it with feelings of regret that I sever
my connection with the Town Board, tha6 have always been of the most
pleasant character,

and to make necessary arrangements for Legal advise on the
appeal on assessments, and also all other business as may
legaly some before the sounsil.

The Town Council of the Town of 4eilsburg, Iowa, met in
Special °ession, pursuant to the rules of said Council and. to
law, on the Call of the Mayor, at the time and place designated in the
following call, a copy of which, signed by the Mayor, had been person-
aily served on each membr of the Council a sufficient time before
said meeting, and service of which had been duly accepted by each
member of said Council.

Dear bir:
You are hereby notified that a meeting of the Council of the
Town of Wellsburg, Iowa, will be held on the day of January,
1921, at the usual meeting pllce of said Council in said Town at
the hour of 7 36 o'clock _L_.M., for the purpose of considering
and passing resolution for the issuance of Sewer Bonds of said
Town and for the Purpose of choosing a noun 1 an to fill the
vacancy caused by the resignation of and for
such other business as may come before the meeting.

Due and legal and timely service and the receipt of a copy
of the above :all is hereby acknowledged and accepted this ? 7

The Mayor read the foregoing call and reported the service thereof,
as above stated, had been duly made and accented.

the clerk distributed blank ballots to each council an -,present and
a vote was had which resulted .-s follows. Mr,

the oath of of e by the Mayor and also signed and filed with the clerk
his written oath of office, and having duly qualified as Councilman
took his seat as such.
