AN ORDINANCE OF THE VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE,
FLORIDA; AMENDING CHAPTER 28 "SIGNS" OF THE
VILLAGE CODE, BY AMENDING SECTION 28-8
"TEMPORARY SIGNS", SUBSECTION (8) "REAL ESTATE
OPEN HOUSE SIGN"; TO PROVIDE FOR PERMITTED
LOCATIONS OF SAID SIGNS; PROVIDING FOR
SEVERABILITY; PROVIDING FOR INCLUSION IN CODE; AND
PROVIDING AN EFFECTIVE DATE.
WHEREAS, the Village Council desires to amend the sign regulations provided by Chapter 28
"Signs" of the Village Code in a manner which will enhance the quality of life in the Village; and
WHEREAS, this Ordinance shall serve to accomplish such purpose; and
WHEREAS, in accordance with Section 20-1 of the Village Code, the Village Council has been
designated as the local planning agency for the village pursuant to Section 163.3174, Fla. Stat.; and
WHEREAS, the Village Council has reviewed this Ordinance and has determined that the
regulations provided herein are consistent with the applicable provisions of the Comprehensive Plan of
the Village.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT ORDAINED BY THE VILLAGE COUNCIL OF THE
VILLAGE OF KEY BISCAYNE, FLORIDA, AS FOLLOWS':
Section 1. That Section 28-8 (8) of the Code of the Village of Key Biscayne is hereby amended to
read as follows:
(1) Real Estate Open House Sign (in conformance with design specifications as provided by
the Village Manager):
