RESOLUTION NO. 9~-179

A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT
OFFER FOR STREET DEDICATION OF THE
SOUTHERLY FIVE (5) FEET OF THE WESTERLY
HALF OF LOT 930 OF TRACT NO. 3172, IN THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF LOS ANGELES, STATE
OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP RECORDED IN
BOOK 32, PAGE 90, INCLUSIVE OF MAPS, IN THE
OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF SAID
COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the development at 3543 Palm Avenue, in the City of Lynwood, is required to
dedicate a 5 foot wide strip along Palm Avenue for street widening purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has determined that said easements
are necessary far the convenience, welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest of the City shall be served by
accepting said easements; and
WHEREAS, said street dedicatior{~as been analyzed and approved by the City Engineer.

NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LYNWOOD
AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council accepts the dedication of said easement for street purposes
from Winfred Roberson and Yvette Roberson, as described below:
The southerly five (5) feet of the westerly half of lot 930 of tract no. 3172 in the City of
Lynwood, County of Los Angeles, State of California, as recorded in book 32, page 90,
in the office of the county recorder.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
