A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO NOBEST, INC.
IN THE AMOUNT OF $ 165,025.00 FOR THE FERNWOOD AVENUE
RECONSTRUCTION PROJECT, PROJECT NUMBER 5-5200,
FISCAL YEAR 1997-98, AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Fernwood Avenue reconstruction Project, Project Number
5-5200 is scheduled for completion during FY 1997-98 and is funded by Federal
Surface Transportation funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on September 25, 1997, and Nobest Inc.
was the lowest qualified bidder at $ 165,025.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,

proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Fernwood Avenue Reconstruction Project ,
Number 5-5200, be awarded to Nobest Inc. for its low bid of $ 165,025.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between
the City of Lynwood and Nobest Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
