SPECIAL MEETING
Tuesday BOARD OF DIRECTORS The meeting will convene
May 21, 1985 at the CalTrans parking

State Highway 84 and
Interstate 280 (see map
on back)
The purpose of this Special Meeting is to hold a field trip to tour District
lands with the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors

(2 : 00) ROLL CALL
TOUR OF DISTRICT LANDS - The following is a schedule of the tour
with approximate times tour stops will be made. Members
of the public may participate in the tour at these points
(see map on back) ,
(2: 15 - 2: 35) Drive up Highway 84 past Thornewood and Wunderlich Park and
proceed to the Windy Hill Open Space Preserve via Skyline
Boulevard.
(2: 35 - 3 : 00) Park at the Spring Ridge pullout area of the Windy Hill Open
Space Preserve and hike a short distance on the Preserve' s
trails.
(3 : 00 - 3: 35) Drive along Skyline Boulevard to the Long Ridge Open Space
Preserve pointing out various District preserves along the
route. Turn around at Long Ridge Open Space Preserve and
proceed to the Monte Bello Open Space Preserve
(3 : 35 - 4 : 00) Park at the Monte Bello Open Space Preserve. Visit portions
of the Monte Bello and Los Trancos Open Space Preserves.
(4: 00 - 5: 00) Drive north on Skyline Boulevard to Highway 92 and return to
the CalTrans parking lot via Interstate 280.
