A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO PAVEMENT COATING
COMPANY IN THE AMOUNT OF $54,863.00, FOR THE SLURRY
SEAL PROJECT, PROJECT 5-5199, FISCAL YEAR 1997-98, AND
' AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT
WHEREAS, the Slurry Seal Project , Project 5-5199 is listed in the Capital
Improvement Projects for FY 1997-98; and
WI~REAS, the bid opening was held on December 4, 1997, and Pavement
Coating Company was the lowest bidder at $54,863.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessary
experience for this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section L That the contract for the Slurry Seal Project, Project 5-5199, be awarded
to Pavement Coating Company for its low bid of $54,863.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between
the City of Lynwood and Pavement Coating Company.
, Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
