A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING
THE AUTHORITARIAN OF THE
SAFE HOUSE PROGRAM

WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood has dedicated each fire station as a
SAFE HOUSE; and
WHEREAS, each fire station in the City of Lynwood will have the
distinctive "SAFE HOUSE" placard in place; and
WHEREAS, a fire department unit will be placed in service to provide
assistance to the victim(s); and
WHEREAS, collectively in the Los Angeles Area this will have a positive
impact on improving safety for the children in Lynwood and the Los Angeles area.
WHEREAS, each fire station will place appropriate guidelines for
accessing assistance when the fire station is vacant.
WHEREAS, procedural guidelines will be in place for fire personnel
along with notification to the Los Angeles County Sheriff Department and the Lynwood
Unified School District
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 16th day of December, 1997
