RESOLUTION NO. 9$-ZO
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
' CITY OF LYNWOOD AMENDING THE CLASSIFICATION PLAN AND
GENERAL EMPLOYEES SALARY SCI-IEDULE
WHEREAS, the CiTy Council of the CiTy of Lynwood has adopted an Employee Classification and
Posirion Plan and amended same as needed; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of ttte CiTy of Lynwood has adopted a salary resolurion with salary
schedules including a fulltune general employees schedule; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has idenrified a need for the inclusion of Community Liaison
Specialist to the fulltune secrion of [he classificaHon plan and salary schedule; and
WHEREAS, there are sufficient monies within the City Manager's FY 97-98 budget as well as
the availability of Local Law Enforcement Block Grant monies to cover the position inclusion.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Ciry Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find, determine and
resolve as follows:
~ n 1 Amend the Employee Classification and Position Plan by including ffie
position statement of Community Liaison Specialist within the classified posirion secrion.
n 2. Amend the fulltune general employees salary schedule by adding the position tiUe
of Community Liaison Specialist at a salary range of $2,758.70 to $3,353.97 per month (Leve137G).
' ction 3. This resolution shall become effective immedia[ely upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of Janaury . 1998.
