A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
ADOPTING THE ESTABLISHMENT OF AN

EMPLOYEE
AWARD PROGRAM
WHEREAS, the Mayor and Members of the City Council have expressed a strong interest in the
establishment of an Employee Recogni6on Awazd Program; and
WHEREAS, through its establishment the City Council is demonshating its commitment and support
to employees and services to the communiTy; and
WHEREAS, the establishment of the program can create an incentive to promote increased morale,
productivity and services by employees; and
WHEREAS, the City benefits through increased performance, reduced lost-work time and increased
public understanding and appreciarion of the organization and employee services.
NOW, THEREFORE, the Ciry Council of the Ciry of Lynwood does hereby find, detennine and
resolve as follows:
e ti n L That the City Council of the City of Lynwood adopts the establishment of a Ciry
Employee Recognirion Award Program.
ti n 2. This resolurion shall become effective unmediately upon its adoption.
