A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE CITYWIDE
POTHOLES REPAIRS PROJECT AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE
THE NECESSARY FUNDS APPROPRIATIONS AND
TRANSFERS
WHEREAS, recent rains have caused an inordinate number of potholes
to develop; and
WHEREAS, said number of potholes exceeds the number of potholes that
can be routinely handle by the City's Street Maintenance Division; and
WHEREAS, said potholes, if left unattended, will deteriorate the pavement
which will cause hazardous driving conditions to motorists and require expensive street
reconstruction; and
WHEREAS, staff has identified available funding sources that can be
used to repairs these potholes; and
WHEREAS, City Council desires to provide safe driving conditions to
motorists and avoid future expensive street reconstruction.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the Citywide Pothole Repairs Project is approved.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make the
following funds appropriations and transfers'

Unappropriated LRA Area A Fund

Unappropriated General Fund
$20,000
TO
Citywide Pothole Repairs Project
$20,000
$40,000
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
