RESOLUTION NO. 83 -2137
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF TEMPLE CITY TERMINATING PROCEEDINGS TO
DETERMINE THE EXISTENCE OF A PUBLIC NUISANCE
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY DOES HEREBY
RESOLVE:
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission of the City of Temple City
has, by Resolution No. 83- 1043PC, determined that a public nuisance
as defined in the Municipal Code, exists on certain premises and
recommends abatement thereof; and
WHEREAS, an appeal was filed by the owner of the property
known as 10305 Olive Street, Temple City; and
WHEREAS, a duly noticed public hearing was held before the
City Council to determine whether certain premises constitute a
public nuisance.
NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF TEMPLE CITY
DOES RESOLVE:
SECTION 1. The City Council hereby determines that the
proceedings to ascertain the existence of a public nuisance, as
defined by the Municipal Code, should be, and they hereby are,
terminated without prejudice for the following reason:
No diminution of property values has been
substantiated.
SECTION 2. The City Clerk is hereby directed to cause a
copy of this Resolution to be served on the owner of the said
premises pursuant to the Municipal Code.
SECTION 3. The City Clerk shall certify to the adoption of
this Resolution.

I hereby certify that the foregoing Resolution was duly
adopted by the City Council of the City of Temple City at a regular
meeting held on the 1st day of February, 1983, by the following vote:
AYES: Councilmembers- Atkins, Dennis, Gillanders, Swain, Tyrell
NOES: Councilmembers -None
ABSENT: Councilmembers -None
