A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO ORTCO, INC., IN
THE AMOUNT OF $62,763.00, FOR THE LYNWOOD CITY PARK
PLAYGROLTND CONSTRUCTION, PROJECT NUMBER 5-5173,
FISCAL YEAR 1997-98, AND A UTHORIZING THE MAYOR TO
EXECUTE THE AGREEMENT

WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Park Playground Construction, Project Number
5-5173 is scheduled for completion during FY 1997-98; and
WHEREAS, the Lynwood City Park Playground Construction is funded by the
Los Angeles County Regional Park and Open Space District funds; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on January 13, 1998, and Ortco, Inc., was
the lowest responsible bidder at $62,763.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that this contractor has the necessazy
experience for this type of project.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,

proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Lynwood City Pazk Playground Construction,
Project Number 5-5173, be awarded to Ortco, Inc. for its low bid of $62,763.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to execute the agreement between
the City of Lynwood and Ortco, Inc.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
