A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE INSTALLATION OF 6 FOOT
HIGH FENCING AROUND VARIOUS SPORTS FIELDS AT
LYNWOOD PARK AND AUTHORIZING THE CITY
MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE NECESSARY
FUND APPROPRIATIONS AND TRANSFERS
WHEREAS, the Lynwood Park Improvement Project is listed in the Capital
Improvement Schedule for FY 1997-98; and
WHEREAS, the City Council desires to secure the new sports fields from
unauthorized use by having an 6 foot high fence constructed around various sports
fields; and
WHEREAS, the fences will allow the City to better control of the fields and
reduce the cost of maintenance; and
WHEREAS, the installation of a 6 foot high fence around the sports fields
is estimated to cost $ 152,000; and
WHEREAS, the installation of the fences will take approximately sixteen
(16) weeks to complete.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby
find, proclaim, order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council approves the installation of a 6 foot high
fence around various Lynwood Park sports fields.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make
the following funds appropriation and transfer:

Section 3. That this resolution shall take effect immediately upon its
adoption.
