Wayne Neddermeyer - Mayor in Chair Priscilla Arens - Clerk All members present r Moved by Raymond Bosch to accept the petition of Brookview Country Club and Marvin. Benjamin for the improvement of the cartway from Highway► #101 to Brookview Country Club. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter. Motion carried. Moved by Rayburn Anderson to approve the Village Engineer's plans and specifications for the improvement of the cartway, by paving and grading, running from Highway #101 to Brookview Country Club. Seconded by Harold Winterhalter Motion carried. Moved by Rayburn Anderson to authorize the Clerk to send a notice to the owners of abutting property of the proposed improvement ten days prior to the Public Hearing which will be on September 30th Rt the Village Hall at 8 P. M. and further authorize the Clerk to cause a notice of the Public Hearing to be published in the legal newspaper, the Minnetonka Sun, for two consecutive dates prior to the hearing September 30th and to cause an advertisement for bids on the proposed improvement to be published in the Minnetonka Sun, the bids to be opened during the regular meeting of October 1, 1968 at 8 P. M., the description of the proposed improvement, the grading and paving of cartway from Highway #101 to Brookview Country Club. Seconded by Arthur Theis. Council polled: Rayburn Anderson, yes; Arthur Theis, yes; Raymond Bosch, yes, Harold Winterhalter, yes:and Wayne Neddermeyer, yes. Motion carried. A letter from Barbarosa and Sons with regard to revised bid read. Mr. Mills gave a report on the progress of the sewer and water project. A letter from W. Doerr with regard to a ditch filling up was read. Talked with Felix Iavmann with regard to job as custodian; to be paid at the present rate of $100.00 per year for the balance of 1968, he to keep track of his hours to January 1st to see how he will be paid in 1969. • Mr. Gubrud gave a report on the bond issue for the sewer and water project. Moved by Harold Winterhalter to adopt the Resolitihn attached hereto authorizing the issuance and sale of $720,000.00 improvement bonds. Seconded by Raymond Bosch. Council polled. Harold Winterhalter, yes; Raymond Bosch, yes; Rayburn Anderson, yes; Arthur Theis, yes and Wayne Neddermeyer, yes. Motion carried. 6 112 Wayne Neddermeyer told the Council that Mr. French of t4he County Park asked + to meet with the Council sometime. Raymond Bosch and the policemen discussed with the Council the costs of the police department and salaries to be considered at the budget meeting on September 19th. Discussion with regard to hiring someone to replace Emil Jubert. Moved by Harold Winterhalter that the meeting adjourn. Seconded by Rayburn Anderson. Motion carried. Meeting adjourned at 11:30 P. M.
