A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD APPROVING THE REPLACEMENT
OF WELL 19 CHLORINATOR HOUSE, AND AUTHORIZING
THE CITY MANAGER OR HIS DESIGNEE TO MAKE THE
NECESSARY FUND APPROPRIATIONS AND TRANSFERS
'
WHEREAS, the metal shed that houses the Well 19 chlorinator unit is badly
corroded and in need of replacement; and
WHEREAS, a new vandal proof chlorinator house installation is estimated to cost
$15,000; and
WIIEREAS, this cost was not anticipated and is therefore not included in the
Water Division FY 1997-98 Budget; and
WHEREAS, the Council of the City of Lynwood desires to provide for safe

operation of its water wells.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order, and resolve as follows:
Section L That the City Council of the City of Lynwood approves the
replacement of Well 19 chlorinator house.
Section 2. That the City Manager or his designee is authorized to make the
following fund appropriations and transfers:

Water Fund
Unappropriated Fund Balance
$15,000
TO
Well 19 Chlorinator House Project
$15,000
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption.
