A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD TO APPROVE A CONTRACT AGREEMENT
BETWEEN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD AND COTTON/BELAND
ASSOCIATES TO CONDUCT A FAIR HOUSING ASSESSMENT

WHEREAS, the City is
Assessment to the Department
within a two month period; and
required to submit a Fair Housing
of Housing and Urban Development
WHEREAS, the City currently has no City staff available
to perform the required assessment and analysis in a timely
manner; and
WHEREAS, the City desires contract services in order to
met HUD compliance by the date required; and
WHEREAS, the City has requested, received and reviewed
proposals to provide a Fair Housing Assessment and Analysis in a
timely manner, and selected the firm of Cotton/Beland Associates
to conduct these services.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Approve and adopt the attached Contract
Agreement with Cotton/Beland Associates to provide an assessment
and analysis of the City of Lynwood fair housing impediments.
SECTION 2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the attached
Contract Agreement.
