A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD FINDING THAT A PU[3LIC NUISANCE CURRENTLY IS
NOT BEING MAINTAINI;D ON CLRTAIN REAL PROPERTY
LOCATED AT 3570 IMPERIAL HIGHWAY IDENT[FIED AS THE
HIGHLAND MANOR I30ARD AND CARE FACIL[TY AND
DIRECTING STAFP TO CONTINUE TO MONITOR ACT[VITY AT
THE SITE.
~ WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has conducted a public hearing on
March 17, 1998 to determine if a public nuisance is being maintained at the above specified site,
and
WHEREAS, evidence was presented at that Itearing indicating that appropriate actions
have been taken by the owners and manager to abate public nuisance activity at this site,
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council oY' the City of Lynwood hereby resolves as
follows:
'on 1 Based upon reconunendation of the City Manager, this Council hereby finds,
determines and directs:
1. that appropriate actions have been taken to abate public nuisance activity at
the Highland Manor Board and Care Home at 3570 E. Imperial Highway.
2. that a public nuisance currently is not being maintained at the subject site.
3. that staff should continue to monitor complaints and Sheriff and Fire Department
responses to calls from this address for three months and report back to the City Council
' on any future nuisance activity at this location and any liirther actions that may have to be
taken.
tio 2. The owners of slid property shall be directed to continue to follow the policies
and commitments contained in their "Commu~~ity Program Plan" as submitted to this Council.
