A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD
, REQUESTING THAT THE HUB CITIES CONSORTIUM ACCEPT ITS APPLICATION
FOR MEMBERSHIP
Whereas, the Hub Cities Consortium is an organization of clties charged and
empowered with the ability to administer job training and development
programs under the overall pollcy directfon of the Los Angeles County Private
Industry Counctl (PIC); and
Whereas, the City Council of the City of Lynwood desires that the C(ty of .
Lynwood become a member for the Hub Cities Consortlum; and
Whereas, the Lynwood City Council further desires that Lynwood's
proportionate share of job training and development funds be allocated to the
administratlon of the Hub Cities Consortium should Lynwood's membership
application be accepted;
NOW THEREFORE, The City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That membership Into the Hub Cities Consortium is hereby
requested.
Section 2. That should Lynwood's membership application be accepted, that
, its proportionate share of job training and development funds be allocated to the
Hub Cities Consortfum for administration.
Section 3. That this Resolution take effect immediately.
PASSED, APpROVED AND ADOPTED THIS 7th day of Aori 1, 1ggg.
