RESOLUTION NO. vs-s4
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
LYNWOOD APPROVING THE RENAMING OF THAT PORTION OF
WESTECH WAY, SOUTH OF IMPERIAL HIGHWAY AND THE
FRONTAGE ROAD, BETWEEN EAST ALAMEDA STREET AND
WESTECH WAY, TO PHILADELPHIA WAY
, WHEREAS, Philadelphia Gear Corporation of Lynwood has requested the
renaming of Westech Way, south of Imperial Highway and the frontage road, between East
Alameda Street and Westech Way, to Philadelphia Way; and
WHEREAS, Philadelphia Geaz Corporation believes that this sh~eet name change
will facilitate its clients and visitors in location the company; and
WHEREAS, staff has reviewed the request, and has determined that such street
renaming will not cause problems with a continuous street being named differently, and presents
no potential confusion to motorists; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood does hereby find,
proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section l. That the Westech Way, south of Imperial Highway and the frontage
road, between East Alameda Street and Westech Way, be renamed Philadelphia Way.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect immediately upon its adoption.
