Enjoy a Movie Under the Stars at Ida Lee Park
Leesburg, VA (May 12, 2015) – Get the popcorn ready! The Town of Leesburg will once again
be hosting Movies in the Park this summer. This four-part series will feature an evening flick on
the third Friday of each month throughout the summer, hosted at Ida Lee Park. Food, picnics,
and blankets are all welcome as we invite the public to take in a movie under the stars with us.
Show time will begin at dusk, between 8:30pm and 9pm. This event is free and open to the
public. Pets, glass containers, and alcohol are prohibited.
Mark your calendars now! The first show will be held on Friday, May 15, and feature “Finding
Nemo.” June’s feature flick will be a step back in time with “The Land Before Time” on Friday,
June 19. July’s movie will get everyone dancing with “Happy Feet” on Friday, July 17. The final
movie of the summer will be held on Friday, August 21, and will have everyone singing with
“Frozen Sing-A-Long.”
