Special Meeting. -
Mayor Vahlsing calle a special meeting of the Council
regarding the matters of Marshall -
Mayor Vahlsing presiding and councilmen Geerdes- Kruse and
Luwe-
Motion made and second that H P Kruse act as Clerk due to
the absence of City Clerk Geerdes.
Marshall Gust Fritzel handed in his resignation as marshall
as of this date. -
Motion made by Luwe second by Geerdes that the Mayor
appoint a new Marshall, and that the salary be the same as before.
motion carried.
There being no other business council adjourned.

Regular Meeting.
Council met in regular session, Mayor Vahlaing presiding
and Councilmen Haack, Okones, Luwe and Geerdes present.
Minutes of Jan 7th and Jan 15th were read and on motion by
Luwe second by Haack approved asread. motion carried.
It was moved by Luwe seconded by Haack that 1946 Poll taxes
be cancelled. motion carried.
Trea87rers report was presented , read and ordered filed.
The following bills were presented, duly considerd and
offered paid. Motion by Okones second. by
Geerdes.
