A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ORDERING THE VACATION AND ABANDONMENT
FOR PUBLIC PURPOSES OF THAT PORTION OF THE FIRST
ALLEY WEST OF ATLANTIC AVENUE BETWEEN LUGO AVENUE
AND WALNUT AVENUE, IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, AS SHOWN
ON TRACT NO. 14391, MAP BOOK 312, PAGES 1 AND 2,
RECORDS OF LOS ANGELES COUNTY

WHEREAS, the City Council o£ the City of Lynwood did,
on the 4th day of May, 1993, adopted Resolution No. 93-43,
declaring its intention to vacate the first alley West of Atlantic
Avenue, between Lugo Avenue and Walnut Avenue in the City of
Lynwood, as hereinafter described; and
WHEREAS, notices of said vacation have been published
and posted in the time, form, and manner required by law; and
WHEREAS, a Public Hearing on the matter was held on the
eighteenth day of May, 1993, as prescribed by law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Lynwood as follows:
Section 1. That the following described alley easement
is unnecessary for present or prospective public use, and that the
public interest, necessities, and convenience require, and the
City Council of said City hereby declares its order to vacate and
abandon said alley easement.
That portion of the alley west of Atlantic Avenue
between Lugo Avenue and Walnut Avenue, in the
records in the City of Lynwood, as shown on Tract
No. 14391, Map Book 312, pages 1 and 2, records
of Los Angeles County.
Section 2. That the City of Lynwood reserves an
easement in, over, or upon said above described property for the
construction, erection, and/or maintenance therein of public
utilities.
Section 3. That an easement be reserved for Southern
California Edison Company in, over, or upon said above described
property for the construction, erection and/or maintenance therein
of their facilities.
Section 4. That an easement be reserved for Southern
California Gas Company in, over, or upon said above described
property for the construction, erection and/or maintenance therein
of their facilities.
Section 5. That an easement be reserved for Pacific
Bell to from time to time construct, maintain, operate, replace,
remove and renew such aerial and underground facilities (including
ingress thereto an egress therefrom) consisting of conduits,
cables, manholes, handholds, poles, anchors, guys, cables, wires,
crossarms, terminal equipment cabinets, electrical conductors and
- all necessary fixture and appurtenances.
Section 6. That the proponents pay $600 for City
processing fees prior to recordation.
Section 7. That the City Clerk of the City of Lynwood '~
shall cause a certified copy of said order to be recorded in the
office of the Recorder of Los Angeles County
Section 8. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.

meeting thereof held in the City Hall of the City on the 18th day
