WHEREAS, the Slurry Seal Project, Project No. 5-5141,
is scheduled for completion during fiscal year 1992-1993, and is
funded by the City's Gas Tax; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on May 19, 1993 and
IPS Services was the lowest responsible bidder at $41,430.00; and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the
company has the necessary experience.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Slurry Seal
Project, Project No. 5-5141, FY 1992-93 be awarded to IPS
Services, California for their low bid of $41,430.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement between the City of Lynwood and IPS
Services.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
