A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD AWARDING A CONTRACT TO GRIFFITH COMPANY
IN THE AMOUNT OF $43,165.00 FOR THE LONG BEACH
BOULEVARD CONCRETE REPAIRS PROJECT, PHASE II, PROJECT
NO. 5-5143, FY 1992-93
WHEREAS, the Long Beach Boulevard Concrete Repairs
Project, Phase II, Project No. 5-5143, is scheduled for
completion during fiscal year 1992-1993, and is funded by
Propositions A and C; and
WHEREAS, the bid opening was held on May 19, 1993 and
Griffith Company was the lowest responsible bidder at $43,165.00;
and
WHEREAS, a reference check has revealed that the
company has the necessary experience.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the contract for the Long Beach
Boulevard Concrete Repairs Project, Phase II, Project No. 5-5143,
be awarded to Griffith Company, California for their low bid of
$43,165.00.
Section 2. That the Mayor is hereby authorized to
execute the agreement between the City of Lynwood and Griffith
Company.
Section 3. This resolution shall take effect
immediately upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this
June 1993.
