A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING THE LONG BEACH
BOULEVARD IMPROVEMENT PROJECT, PHASE IIB,
PROJECT NO. 5-5084, AS BEING COMPLETE.
WHEREAS, on September 1, 1992, a contract in the amount of
$1,017,252.50 was awarded to Clayton Engineering, the lowest
responsible bidder; and
WHEREAS, the project's Notice to Proceed was issued on
September 21, 1992 and the project was completed on May 14, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the total project construction cost is
$1,100,397.02; and
WHEREAS, staff inspected the project and found all work has
been completed in accordance with the project plans and
specifications.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council accepts the Long Beach
Boulevard Improvement Project, Phase IIB as being complete in
accordance with contract documents.
Section 2. This resolution shall go into effect
immediately upon its adoption.
