RESOLUTION NO. 93-72
AN ADDENDUM TO RESOLUTION 93-72 CLARIFYING THE INTENT OF
THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA IN REGARD
TO THE CONSOLIDATION OF THE GENERAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION AND THE
ELECTION ON A CARD CLUB INITIATIVE WITH THE GOVERNING BOARD
MEMBER ELEC SECTION 23303 OF THE VELEBC IONS CODE PURSUANT TO
WHEREAS, on June 15th, the City Council of the City of
Lynwood passed approved and adopted Resolution No. 93-74 calling
and giving notice of the holding of a November u2,c 993 for tthe
to be held in said City on Tuesday,
election of three (3) members of the City Council of said City
for a full term of four (4) years, and
WHEREAS, on the same day, concurrent with the approval and
adoption of Resolution 93-74, the City Council of said City
passed, approved and adopted Resolution 93-72 calling and giving
notice of a Measure to be voted on at the General Municipal
Election to establish a Card Club Project within said City, and
WHEREAS, concurrent with the approval and adoptiroved
Resolutions 93-74 and 93-72, the City Council passed, app
and adopted Resolution 93-73 requesting the Board of Supervisors
of the County of Los Angeles to consolidate the General Municipal
election of said City with the Governing Board Member election.
NOW THEREFORE, it is certified that it was the intent of the
City Council in passing, approving, and adopting Resolutions 93-
73, 93-72 and 93-74, that the election on said Measure and the
General Municipal Election be consolidated with the Governing
andrpursuant to S ction 1 b hrough 5nofoResolution 93 73 onsistent
