AN AMENDMENT TO THE�ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 219 TO PROVIDE FOR
THE ZONING OF LOTS IN ROLLING HILLS SUBDIVISION,TIFFIN,
JOHNSON COUNTY,IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA;
Section 1. Purpose: The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Ordinance No.
219(Zoning)to show the zoning of certain lots in Rolling Hills Subdivision, Tiffin, Iowa,
and to comply with the provisions of Ordinance No. 210 and the requirements for
amendments of the official zoning map.
Section 2. Amendment. The following shall be made as a revision to the
comprehensive plan and official zoning map of th eCity of Tiffin for the following lots in
Rolling Hills Subdivision, City of Tiffin,Johnson County, Iowa:
Lots numbered 1 through 36 are zoned R1
Lots numbered 38 through 58 are zoned R1
Lots numbered 64 through 71 are zoned Rl
Lots numbered 82 through 92 are zoned R1
Lots numbered 98 through 103 are zoned RI
Lot 116 is zoned R1
Lots numbered 59 through 63 are zoned R2
Lots numbered 72 through 81 are zoned R2
Lots numbered 93 through 97 are zoned R2
Lots numbered 109 through 115 is zoned R2
And
Lot37
And Lots 104 through 108 are zoned R2
Sction 3. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in confict with the
provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Severability. If any section,provision or part of this ordinance shall be
adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the validity
of the ordinance as a whole or any section,provision or part hereof not adjudged invalid
or unconstitutional.
Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage,
and approval and posting as provided by law.

On the 10 day of May ,2000 at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City
Council, Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson .D i l s introduced Ordinance No. 2000-235
and moved that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by
Councilperson Gericke
Ayes: Gericke, Bartels, RYan, Walls, and Dils
Nayes: Non'
Five members of the council being present and having voted"Aye", Mayor Glenn Potter
declared Motion carried,and Ordinance No.2 0 00-235 was read the first time and placed on
. record.
Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson Walls and seconded by
Councilperson Ryan that the laws and rules providing that ordinances be
considered and voted on for passage at two council meetings prior to the meeting at which it is to
be finally passed be suspended and dispensed with and that Ordinance No?0 0 0-235 be
placed on its last reading.
Ayes: Ryan, Walls, Dils, Gericke and Bartels
Nayes: None
Five members of the council being present and having voted"Aye",Mayor Glenn Potter
declared Motion to be carried,and Ordinance Not 0 0 0-235 was then placed upon its last
reading and was read the last time.
-' Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson Bartels and seconded by
Councilperson Ryan that Ordinance No. 2000-235 be placed on its final
passage and adopted.
F;vP members of the council being present and having voted"Aye",Mayor Glenn Potter
declared the Motion carried, and Ordinance passed and adopted.
Whereupon the Mayor declared that Ordinance Not 0 00-235 be adopted and signified his
approval of the same by fixing his signature thereto.
PASSED by the Council on the 10th day of May 2000
and APPROVED this 10th day Of May ,2000.

I, Clerk of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, state that an ordinance entitled, AN AMENDMNET
TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 219 TO PROVIDE FOR THE ZONING OF
LOTS IN ROLLING HILLS SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA
and known as No.2 0 0 0-2 3 5 was duly passed by the Tiffin City Council on the
1 0th day of May , 2000 and signed by the mayor on the 1 0th day of
May ,2000, and published on the 24th ;day of May , 2000 by posting
copies thereof in three public places within the limits of the City of Tiffin, Iowa.
