Administrators'Reports Chair Telman indicated that the Principals'reports were included in the packet. Principal Fronius 1 know that included in her report was a follow up to a question asked last month about the students who attend from the town as well as the wrap around service that is provided. et the Committee (Brewster 11, Chatham 3,Dennis 1,Eastham 5, Harwich 8, Orleans 5, Wellfl YMCA and the number of Nauset Preschool) eet 1, Yarmouth 1 and 2 shared with Superintendent Conrad reported that he and his team of Joanne Irish, Eastham School Committee an Spanish Teacher at Nauset Regional Middle School, visited the Barbieri School, dual immersionprogram Framingham. Nauset Regional High School Ms. Venditti and the Superintendent will be meeting with Town Accountants and Town Administratorsil keep them updated on the process and the scope of the project. to Spring 2016 PARCC/MCAS Results Principal Hughes gave a PowerPoint presentation regarding the 2016 MCAS results. She reviewed comparisons in ELA and Math in Grades 3, 4, and 5. Eddy received extra credit for narrowing proficiency various subjects. Minutes of the November 14, 2016 meeting were accepted 5-0 on a motion by Sharon, seconded by Milton Action taken on applications for Council grants: #3067 — Arts Day, Erika Dewey— approved 5-0 (Annie Gerrity had not yet arrived), on a motion by Maureen, seconded by JoAnn #4402 — Songkeepers Limited — Morgan James Peters — approved 6-0 , on a motion by Annie, seconded by Maureen #4842 — Cape Cod Fisherman's Alliance — approved 6-0, on a motion by Annie, seconded by Milton # 5225 — Cape Cod Rep — approved 6-0, on a motion by Milton, seconded by Annie #4381 — Mass Audubon — rejected 1-5, on a motion by Annie, seconded by Maureen. This request was rejected on the grounds that the number of persons served sets a precedent inconsistent with past practice. #3289 —Cape Cod Poetry Review—approved 6-0, on a motion by Maureen, seconded by Sharon #9192 — Tim Van Egmond, Folksinger & Storyteller— approved 6-0 on a motion by Maureen, seconded by Sharon Action pending: #9403 Alzheimer's Family Caregiver Support Center, Inc. —will require Ralph to ask several questions of the applicant prior to any action on the grant. General Discussion: 1.Feedback should be provided to the State CC that we spend a lot of time discussing the salary line on the applications. The stipend line item needs more specificity, and should be broken down, thus enlightening us in terms of the scope of each project. Next year's forms should provide CCs greater clarity. 2. Annie suggested that for next year's programs, BLL Children's Librarian consider local jugglers, magicians, etc who have performed at the Snow Library in Orleans. Meeting adjourned at 5:30.
