AN AMENDMENT TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 219 TO PROVIDE FOR
THE ZONING OF LOTS IN ROLLING HILLS SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN,
JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA.
BE IT ORDAINED BY THE CITY OF TIFFIN, IOWA:
Section 1. Purpose: The purpose of this ordinance is to amend Ordinance
No. 219 (Zoning) to show the rezoning of certain lots in Rolling Hills Subdivision, Tiffin,
Iowa, and to comply with the provisions of Ordinance No. 219 and the requirements for
amendments of the official zoning map. •
Section 2. Amendment. The following shall made as a revision to the
comprehensive plan and official zoning map of the City of Tiffin for the following lots in
Rolling Hills, Subdivision, Johnson County, Iowa:
Lot 37 and Lots 104-108 shall be rezoned R-2.5
(For clarification the following information is provided to verify the zoning of the other lots
in Rolling Hills Subdivision as determined at the time of approval of the preliminary plat and
as a result of the above rezoning.)
Lots numbered 1 through 36 are zoned RI
Lots numbered 38 through 58 are zoned Rl
Lots numbered 64 through 71 are zoned Rl
Lots numbered 82 through 92 are zoned R1
Lots numbered 98 through 103 are zoned R1
Lot 116 is zoned RI
Lots numbered 59 through 63 are zoned R2
Lots numbered 72 through 81 are zoned R2
Lots numbered 93 through 97 are zoned R2
Lot numbered 109 through 115 is zoned R2
Section 3. Repealer. All ordinances or parts of ordinances in conflict with the
provisions of this Ordinance are hereby repealed.
Section 4. Severability. If any section, provision, or part of this ordinance shall
be adjudged to be invalid or unconstitutional, such adjudication shall not affect the
validity of the ordinance as a whole, or any section, provision, or part thereof not
adjudged invalid or unconstitutional.

Section 5. Effective Date. This ordinance shall be in effect after its final passage,
approval, and posting as provided by law.
On the 1 1 thiay of October 2000, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council,
Tiffin, Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Ordinance No.
Gericke , and moved that it be given its first reading. The motion was seconded by
Councilperson Gericke
Ayes:" Walls, Gericke, BArtels, Dils and Ryan
Nayes: None. Absent: None.
Five members of the council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R.
Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No.2 0 00-236 , was read the first
time and discussed and placed on record.
On November 8, 2000 at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Cou
Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson Ryan and seconded
by Councilperson Dils that the laws and rules
providing that ordinances be considered and voted on for passage at two council meetings
prior to the meeting at which it is to be finally passed be suspended and dispensed with
and that Ordinance No.2000-236 be placed on its last reading.

Nayes: None. Absent: None.

Potter declared the motion carried, and Ordinance No. 2000-236 , was then placed on
its last reading and was read the last time.
Thereupon, it was moved by Councilperson Gericke and seconded
by Councilperson Ryan that Ordinance No.
2000-236 be placed upon its final passage and adopted.
Ayes: Walls, Dils, Gericke, Bartels, and Ryan.
Nayes: None. Absent: None.
Five members of the council being present and having voted "Aye", Mayor Glenn R.
Potter declared the motion carried, and the ordinance was passed and adopted.
Whereupon the mayor declared that Ordinance No. 2000-236 be adopted and
signified his approval of same by fixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the `'council,on the 8th day of November 2000 and
approved by the mayor on the 8th day of November 2000.

I, Clerk of the City of Tiffin, Iowa, state that an ordinance entitled: AN AMENDMENT
TO THE ZONING ORDINANCE NO. 219 TOE PROVIDE FOR THE ZONING OF
LOTS IN ROLLING HILLS SUBDIVISION, TIFFIN, JOHNSON COUNTY, IOWA,
and known as No.2 0 0 0-2 3 6 was duly passed by the council on the 8th day of
November 2000, and signed by the mayor on the 8th day of November
2000, and published on the 27th day of November , 2000, by posting copies
thereof in three public places within the limits of the City of Tiffin, Iowa.
