HomeMy Public PortalAboutPAGE 139pt 4, 1928 Regular Meetin of the Town Board of Trustees The Re ular meeting of the Town Board of Trustees of the Town of Ault eas called to order by mayor Anderson at 8:00 O'clock of the above date. Upon roll call the following members were round present: - Hasbrouck, Newman , Peterson , Duncan , McIntyre and Ehn. Minutes of the previous meeting read and approved as read. H. M, England appeared at the meeting and asked permission of the board to allow him to build a shed of wood construction x for the purl pose of housing Thrashing Machine Separator the same to be built 7ithin the Fire limits of The Town of Ault. After some discussion Duncan moved second by Peterson that Mr. England be allowed to build the shed under Ordinance 43 and according to the following specifications *- The frame of building to be of ' good construction , sides and roof to be covered with corrugated iron., said building to be enclosed on four sides. Upon roll call all present vote Aye. vk communication from C. C. Barnard , Supt., of the U. P. Railr o.d was read in which Mr. Barnard asked that the Board revise Or dincance # 12 Section 8 in regard to railroads and increase the Speed limits of Trains in The Town of Ault . Yr.. Bernard wrote that he would like to have the speed of freight trains increaded to 35 miles per hour and that of Passenger trains to 00 miles r:- per Hour. The Board took no action but referred same to the Judiciary Conmittee.. loved by, iksbzumek second by Hasbrouck. Mc In t -r e Upon roll call all present voted Aye. The Bills were read by the Finance Corrnitte ans.. approved by same. Moved by Newwan second by Hasbrouck that the bills be allowed with the exc et ion of bill of ..-r4 Tweed for nursing Pauper , the aforesaid bill to be tabled for the present . After much discussion it was suggested that no Shooting Gallery be Allowed to locate in Ault in the future for less than t50.00 the Mayor to increase this if hee thinks it advi :able.
