COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, SEPTEMBER 16, 2019
CALL TO ORDER
Mayor Carrie Tergin called the September 16, 2019 City Council “Pre-Meeting” to order
at 5:47 P.M. to review the agenda.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Graham, Hensley, Kemna, Mihalevich, Prather, Schreiber, and
Ward
Absent: Fitzwater, Hussey, and Wiseman
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Councilman Schreiber will lead the prayer.
Miscellaneous
- Mayor Tergin will present a proclamation in honor of Bob Watson, to his
family and co-workers.
- Mayor Tergin will present a proclamation to State Technical College of
Missouri for being named as the top two-year college in the nation.
- Mayor Tergin will then present the Alzheimers Awareness Day proclamation.
Consent Agenda
- There were no questions pertaining to consent agenda items.
Bills Introduced
- Matt Morasch, Director of Public Works will present bills 2019-049, 2019-050,
and 2019-051. Councilman Mihalevich, sponsor of bills 2019-050 and 2019-
051 will request to suspend the rules on both bills.
- Ryan Moehlman, City Counselor will present bills 2019-052 and 2019-053.
- Police Chief Roger Schroeder will present bill 2019-054
Councilwoman Wiseman arrived at the meeting at 5:52 P.M.

Bills Pending
- Mr. Morasch will present bill 2019-047.
- Bill 2019-048 will be presented by Mr. Moehlman.
Informal Calendar
- Councilman Hussey, although absent, indicated his wishes to leave bill 2019 -
040 on the informal calendar.
- Bill 2019-046 will remain on the informal calendar.
Resolutions
- Human Resources Director, Gail Strope will present RS2019-10.
