RESOLUTION #97-219
"PROFESSIONAL SERVICE CONTRACT FOR LEGAL
SERVICES"
was adopted Upon individual roll call vote, Councilmembers
Bialowarczuk, DuPont, Failace, Feingold and Gutowski voted in the
affirmative Councilmember Fazekas was noted absent.
Councilmember Feingold questioned that in the body of the
Resolution it says, "pursuant to letter attached" and he said he didn't
have a letter attached.
The Clerk told him she had it in her office.
Councilmember Feingold said it also said in the body of the Resolution
"at a maximum cost not to exceed $50,000.00 billable per attached
contract" that there is no contract attached.
Mayor Sica said we have it.
The Clerk said the contract doesn't get done until this is adopted. The
letters should be in the bins because she had given a copy of it prior
to this.
Councilmember DuPont said he received a letter from Parmar about
the dock being dangerous.
Mayor Sica said he saw Parmar today and he told him to come to the
Crusher on Thursday and he will give him enough of bolders to block
it off so the cars can't go on it.
Councilmember DuPont said the Police Department is going to get
some signs.
Mayor Sica said there is some kind of a letter from Green Acres,
which he hasn't gotten yet, talking about DuPont doing remediation.
He thinks what that is referring to is that DuPont's site is being
remediated and there may of been stuff that had migrated over to that
site and that we should look at that before we do anything. Then he
questioned what that had to do with the new dock. He said he will
have to look at the letter when they get it.
