A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF LYNWOOD ACCEPTING AN EASEMENT OFFER FOR
STREET DEDICATION ON A PORTION OF LOT 37,
TRACT 921, IN THE CITY OF LYNWOOD, COUNTY OF
LOS ANGELES, STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP
RECORDED IN BOOK 18 PAGES 106 -107 INCLUSIVE
OF MAPS, IN THE OFFICE OF THE COUNTY RECORDER
OF SAID COUNTY.
WHEREAS, the development at the northwest corner of
Fernwood Avenue and Santa Fe Avenue, in the City of Lynwood, was
required to dedicate a twelve and half foot (12.5') wide strip
to the City for street purposes; and
WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Lynwood has
determined that said easement is necessary for the convenience,
welfare, and safety of the public; and
WHEREAS, it has been determined that the best interest
of the City shall be served by accepting the said easement; and
WHEREAS, said street dedication has been analyzed and
approved by the City Engineer.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF
LYNWOOD AS FOLLOWS:
Section 1. The City Council accepts the dedication
of said easement for street purposes from HABITAT FOR HUMANITY,
LOS ANGELES, A CALIFORNIA NON PROFIT CORPORATION (owner) , as
described below:
The easterly twelve and half feet (12.5') of Lot 37 of
Tract 921, in the City of Lynwood, County of Los Angeles,
State of California, as recorded in Book 1.8, pages 106 -107
of maps, in the office of the County Recorder of said
County,
Assessors Map No.: 6170-010-900
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of
