A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
111 CITY OF LYNWOOD TO APPROVE A CONTRACT
AGREEMENT WITH THE LONG BEACH FAIR HOUSING
FOUNDATION (FHF) FOR CONTINUED FAIR
HOUSING SERVICES TO LYNWOOD RESIDENTS FOR
FISCAL YEAR 1993-94
WHEREAS, under Federal Regulations, cities that
participate in the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
program are require to "Affirmatively Further Fair Housing"; and
WHEREAS, Council approved the City's CDBG statement as
Final on May 18, 1993, and the City submitted the Final Statement
to HUD on May 30, 1993, which included a Fair Housing
Certification; and
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, determine, order and resolve as follows:
SECTION 1. Approve and adopt the attached Contract
Agreement with the Long Beach Fair Housing Foundation to provide
Fair Housing services to Lynwood residents for fiscal year 1993-
93 , in the amount of $15,576.00.
SECTION 2. Authorize the Mayor to execute the attached
Contract Agreement with the Long Beach Fair Housing Foundation.
PASSED, APPROVED and ADOPTED this 6th day of July,
1993.
