A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF LYNWOOD RELATING TO THE EMERGENCY
REPAIRS OF STREET PAVEMENT AT THE NORTHEAST
CORNER OF IMPERIAL HIGHWAY AND McNERNEY
AVENUE
WHEREAS, the water main break at the northeast corner of
Imperial Highway and McNerney Avenue had caused the undermining of the
adjacent street pavement on Imperial Highway; and
WHEREAS, in order to maintain safe operation of said
street, staff solicited contractual services to immediately repair the
undermined street pavement; and
WHEREAS, the City of Lynwood Municipal Code, Section 6-3.13
allows for informal bid for emergency purchases; and
WHEREAS, repairs for this street pavement has been
estimated to cost $9,000.
NOW, THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Lynwood
does hereby find, proclaim, order, and resolve as follows:
Section 1. That the City Council of the City of Lynwood
approve the emergency street pavement repairs at the northeast corner
of Imperial Highway and McNerney Avenue, per Section 6-3.13 of the
Lynwood Municipal Code.
Section 2. This resolution shall take effect immediately
upon its adoption.
