A RHSOLUTION OF THH CITY COUNCIL OF THH CITY
OF LYNWOOD, CALIFORNIA, FINDING THH CITY TO
BS IN COMPLIANCE WITH THS 1992 CONGESTION
MANAGHMSNT PROGRAM (CMP) AND APPROVING THH
CMP CONFORMANCH CHECKLIST.
WHHRSAS, the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation
Authority ("MTA"), acting as the Congestion Management Agency for
Los Angeles County, adopted the Congestion Management Program on
November 18, 1992; and
WHHRHAS, the adopted CMP requires that MTA annually determine
that the County and cities within the County are conforming to all
CMP requirements; and
WHEREAS, the adopted CMP requires submittal to the MTA of the
CMP self certification checklist by August 1, 1993; and
WHEREAS, the City Council held a public meeting on July 20,
1993.
NOW THSRSFORH, THS CITY COUNCIL OF THS CITY OF LYNWOOD DOBS
HRRSBY RRSOLVB AS FOLLOWS:
p°" SHCTION 1. That the City has taken all the actions reflected
I{ on the CMP Conformance Checklist, attached hereto as "Attachment A"
and made a part hereof, and that the City is in conformance with
all applicable requirements of the 1992 CMP.
SECTION 2. That the City Clerk shall certify to the adoption
of this Resolution and shall forward a copy of this Resolution to
the Los Angeles County Metropolitan Transportation Authority.
APPROVBD and ADOPTHD by the City Council of the City Lynwood
this 20th day of July, 1993.
